Senior Professional
Services Engineer
YOUR MISSION
As Senior Professional Services Engineer you are a
key part of the Services Team operating out of WDL’s
US Headquarters.
Your primary tasks are to lead or participate in
engagements that leverage WDL’s products and
solutions, and to design and develop reusable
solutions frameworks based on industry standard
middleware and application platforms like JBoss,
Oracle and Active Directory.
The Senior Professional Services Engineer requires a
combination of communication and technical skills.
You contribute to multiple projects, help build and
maintain your client roster, support various types
of engagements using many different cutting edge
technologies, and you maintain a balanced technical
skill set.
The Senior Professional Services Engineer is
self-motivated, responsible, well organized, a quick
learner, and is largely self-directed. Travel is
required in a regular basis.
REQUIRED SKILLS
4 - 10 years of software development experience
J2EE or equivalent Java development background
Database design and development experience (Oracle,
SQL Server, DB2, Informix, or MySQL preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication
Working knowledge of UML or similar requirements and
design language
Working knowledge of XML Schema and XSLT
BONUS SKILLS
.NET (C#, J#, managed C++)
VC++ COM development experience
Working knowledge of systems integration platforms
and strategies, Web services, ETL tools, EDI
standards, code generation techniques, message
oriented middleware and SOA, XQuery, LDAP
Knowledge of document management systems

including participation in industry events,
interacting with customers, press, and partners, and
developing valuable content for our highly ranked
Web site.
We are now looking for a talented Sales/Marketing
Engineer interested in working for this fast paced,
creative, and successful international organization.
This position is based in our US headquarters and
reports to the Director of Marketing.
YOUR MISSION
As a key member of the marketing team, you will
be instrumental in demonstrating the capabilities of
WDL’s award-winning product line and creating
downloadable components that enhance the value of
our solutions. As such, you will need a unique mix
of technical ability and superior communication
skills.
Additionally, the successful candidate will have a
positive outlook and a proactive approach, be hard
working, self-motivated, and a team player, have the
ability to multi-task, and take ownership of his/her
work without requiring much supervision.
Your mission will include the following
responsibilities:
Create effective demos for each of our software
products
Present product demos to customers, press, and
industry analysts
Represent WDL at tradeshows, conferences and other
industry events (travel required)
Create interactive Web-based examples to highlight
specific product features
Develop components for download from our Web site
(schemas, stylesheets, etc.)
Write up product tips and tricks for inclusion in
our customer newsletter
Provide advice and technical information to our
Product Marketing Managers for use in Web content,
white papers, etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS
~5 years proven technical expertise
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with XML, XSLT, and XML Schema
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint,
Excel, Outlook)
BA/BS degree
Quick intellect
BONUS SKILLS
Proficiency with WDL products (XMLSpy, MapForce,
StyleVision, SchemaAgent, UModel, DiffDog, and/or
Authentic)
Experience with HTML
